I am also sure it’s a different company today vs 13. PM if you have any questions.

I got the invite for the military day. This is my first exposure to a job fair. I plan on going, but what is the consensus regarding implications of turning down the invite?

I would not turn it down. I would also find a company that will help you prep for this and the interview. (Everyone recommendations can be found in previous threads).

Got the invite, intend to go, however close to upgrade at a certain LCC that recently got a somewhat decent CBA.

Not sure what I want to do, based at home either way.
I am an FO at LCC that recently got a "decent" CBA. I would do a lot of questionable things to be in your position. I am getting closer to 40 and my chances of getting hired at United are dwindling but I am still trying even after 3 years at JetBlue. Do not waiste your opportunity of working for real Major with huge variety of flying and equipment. JetBlue is a very poorly run stepping stone of an airline and the culture here is toxic.

I have found several recommendations of companies, IE Cage, but nothing relevant on what would help with this upcoming event. Any suggestions on how to prepare?

Dont spend any money to prep for a 30 second interraction where you are handing off a resume. Smile, make eye contact, brush your teeth, look good and dont have a limp, sweaty hand shake.

There...send me $300.

A lot of companies will give a 'whole process' or something like that package. This means, resume, application, job fair and interview support. You have to pay up first but you will use them until you get hired somewhere.
