Agreed
And this opinion piece explains why soccer should not be broadcast in the US.

We need B767 300 pay fixed ASAP. I think the honest thing to do by the pilots is to provide retro pay for this fleet type.
The argument the company and the union gave about not providing wide body pay for this aircraft was that "it was going away."
2 points.
It hasn't gone away, and even if it does, so what, it should pay correctly. It is downright disrespectful to the pilots for our union to ignore this very important point.

Clearly this “sport” needs to be banned.

The 767 is paid correctly according to the contract that the majority of pilots voted for and according to the amended contract also overwhelmingly approved. I agree that the 767 should pay like a widebody, but according to this contract it doesn’t. Reparation aren’t going to happen. This should be fixed in the next contract, but for now it pays less.
So you don't feel you were lied to during the negotiations and discussions and road shows, etc. about the how/why and rationale about the pay rate on this aircraft?
It's being paid "right" under the letter of the cba. But, that's not what we were told in the discussion leading up to the vote. And, for cetain after the first cba and the subsequent extetion, no way the "talk-talk" holds water.
There should be retro pay because we were misled. The aircraft isn't going away and hasn't gone away. Time to pay the pilots who have been doing the job and doing the mission.

It has also been almost six years since the contract was signed. You have had ample opportunity to escape the injustice that is the 763.

You were not lied to. 21 of the 35 UA 763's are 25 years or older which is the planned retirement age for mainline jets. The decision to extend their lives was made based on recent circumstances. UA 763s are paid comparably to DAL and AAL, and the 16 764 that are about 17 years old pay the same as 777s.
