As a regular commuter, and I believe most on this site will agree, the cabins on our airplanes these days are filled with stressed out, packed in and quite often inexperienced passengers.

Now take those 150+ people packed into our tubes with all their personal stuff/possesions with just four (or less) people overseeing them and it spells problems.

Personally, I believe every passenger bringing a pet on board needs to be warned about the stress of the environment and instructed about where that pet needs to be placed. Maybe have a special handout with a disclaimer about traveling may be hazardous to the animal's health.

Oh, I forgot these animals are supposed to be "stress relievers" and support for their owners.

Moving on.
This wasn't an emotional support animal. Different rules.

Dude read between the lines.

My post wasn’t about either types of animals.

Hey the dog may have been less of an animal than others.

Of course I googled this and found out:

The truth is a dog died on a United flight, the rest is just entertainment on the web. Kills time.

Initially I thought this FA just made a bad mistake, but the more I read into this and think about it, the more it's apparent this FA was probably so busy she just didn't hear the dog comment. My mistake for not initially giving her more benefit of the doubt.

That bag looks like a duffel. I don't really understand why everything needs to look fashionable. A dog carrier should look like a dog carrier. The lady didn't speak English. Just because the next row heard her daughter's comment doesn't mean an FA with 5 other things and tasks to deal with did.

I can relate. My wife always tells me "don't you remember I told you that?" When I'm preoccupied, I evidently don't hear s###.

Probably, hopefully a necropsy was performed, (however if I am the lawyer for the family I say no way to a necropsy just show me the money,) People do strange things in the world, would you be surprised if someone brought a dead dog on board and put it in the overhead?

I was not there but Coquito probably died on that flight.
