Gosh, I wonder what happens next?
All the HR managers, directors , VP's in plush offices in Chicago and their consultants that make up the humongous bureaucracy of UAL
have to do something to justify their existence.

What's next? Have you read Oscar's messages? There will be new incentive$ for joining him in social justice parades.

Viva the LBGTQBP open borders raza!

Sitting at home collecting SCs can be grueling. ⛷ That’s exactly why people live in base and collect the biggest check for the least amount of effort. I save my sick time for when I get stuck with a line. That’s the only way to modify your schedule with our top notch trip trading.

People, everyone seems to have forgotten, this program was originally started with the ESOP. This perfect attendance lottery is nothing new.

I am not endorsing the program, but it's old news. The More important reason the program was changed to quarterly bonuses, was it incentivized working while sick--which is against the FAR's for pilots and illegal. So, this program basically excludes the entire pilot group. A pretty big cost savings.

Way to promote moral and motivate us Scott!

Yeah....I felt a bit of 777 SC collecting hatred out there. It is really hard work selecting the next binge worthy net-flix series.

Go read the comments on Flying Together from employees in a different job classifications.

The consensus : A big fat round piece of do-do dropped into the punch bowl.

Very odd move: You take away a program that rewarded hard work, promoted teamwork, and instilled a sense of ownership in every employee, then replace it with a program that by definition arbitrarily and unevenly benefits a select few regardless of individual effort, and punished employees as a result of life events that are no fault of their own (sickness, accident on the way to work, etc).

Scratching my head on this one.

Ever hear the expression "tempest in a teapot"? What are we talking about, that extra $80 every quarter? That doesn't even cover the cost of dinner for two. People get their dander up over the slightest issues.

This isn’t hard to understand. It’s not about the dollar amount, that to you and me is not a huge deal.
