Disclaimer: I agree with Mesaba that if you were to leave a loaded gun on the floor with children around, a rifle would lead to less self inflicted gun shots then a handgun.

I just read the fine print of the second amendment.
It says “those who support the NRA shall also be entitled to a 5% discount, and an attack on the discount is an attack on the 2nd amendment itself”
Point being is that this is not an attack on freedom or the 2nd amendment. Everyone just needs Chill the F out.

Gun Violence Archive Keeps a database of accidental shootings in children. The AR15 is nonexistent in the data, for accident shootings below age 11. It is extremely difficult for a child to shoot themselves with a rifle, especially a properly stored AR15.
The best house gun is th 38 revolver. Easy to operate, don’t jam and the wife can easily operate. Pickup, point, and pull trigger. All the others require additional steps - taking safety off, chamber a round(could be hard for some). Ask your wife which is better for her to operate after a little practice on both(auto and revolver) and buy that.
I hope Delta doesn’t cave on the threat from the NRA to get local government in GA to not give tax breaks that other business in GA will be getting. It’s time for the NRA lobby to go.

I have had it with the NRA.
I'm glad UAL and lots of other companies are pulling the plug.
I called my representatives, and told them that if any candidate every took any money from the NRA, or ever supported the NRA in any way, I would never vote for them again, regardless of their political affiliation.
I sent Amazon a request that they pull the NRA TV channel from their lineup on Prime media. I noted that we owned some stock, and we are Amazon Prime members.
Namaste...
PS-I am a gun owner.

BS most kids that get shot are usually not the kid with the gun. Hi-powered guns are not good house guns - fired round can go through several walls possibly unintentionally killing family member in another room. The length of the AR15 or AK47 as well as all long rifles are not a good house gun because they can be difficult to move around with.

Sorry you are having trouble communicating with your wife but it is her body. I’m happy i’ve never had to go through that but I think I’d still support her decision.

The NRA is getting a TON of money right now.
They simply protect our Constitutional right.
I'm upgrading my membership to "lifetime". From what I've heard, it's a long wait on the line since so many people are doing the same.
Crazy how a handful of tweets can get these corporations running for the hills while MILLIONS of NRA members are insulted.
