We are growing WB flying but also remember UAL has the highest number of WB aircraft as a percent of total fleet of all the majors.
I’m going off a google search so I could be wrong but I see
AMR - 67 777s/35 787s. 950 total
DAL - 18 777s/9 A350s. 871 total
UAL - 90 777s/37 787s. 748 total
DAL has a HUGE number of NB hence the crazy junior NB CAs. UAL is a substantially higher number of WBs so our WB FO goes very junior.
I purposely left out other WB like 767 and A330s because although our -400s pay top rate, others don’t and it’s a small percentage of our fleet.

AA has 24 A330s which lay the same as 777/787. They are also replacing 31 767s with 787.
So about 150/950 airplanes will pay the highest rates.

Absolutely counting reserve days not called as days off. My phone is on 18 days a month but I know the day before if I will have to commute out. For March I worked 3 days. It would be hard for me to go back to the SouthWest style death march 14 or 16 days of work a month.
A 20 yr. 777 fo is getting a minimum of 18 days off a month unless he wants to work more.

The only people working that much choose to...and if they are they are seeing north of 140+ credit per month.

That's equivalent to 113.2 TFP in a month at Southwest 5th year FO payscale.
A classmate of mine lives in DEN and bids reserve by choice. Simply due to work rules, he's at 118 TFP this month having worked 9 days and having 15 days off (phone off) total.
In other words... if he were a 5th-year guy ($135/tfp), he would have made slightly more. Should he choose to, he could fly more and make a lot more... hence the question whether United WB FO's can choose to fly more other than just depending on 75 hour guarantee.
Like ANG says, work rules/rigs make all the difference in the world.

At SWA you’ll never have another option either.

I hustle, so I average 150 TFP per month.
A reserve here credits 110-130 without picking up a single extra day of work, and that’s what I used for comparison.

Different strokes for different folks. I actually don't mind going to work. If I did, I'd find something else to do that I enjoy. I'll work 2-3 day trips with 1-3 legs a day avg. If I can't get the schedule I want due to seniority I bid rsv and will go 5-6 days unused for 20 days off and end up with 110-115 credit. If I want more pay I can pick up a day trip or two and end up in the 130 range.
To me what sounds terrible is flying on the back side of the clock. Doesn't matter where you layover on a WB, odds are you're working the back side of the clock at some point. I don't even like doing flights before noon....which makes the AM/PM schedule such a perk.

So AMR has 126/950
UAL has 127/748
Your point was?

My point? To correct your post that had incorrect information.
You said you left out the a330s bc they don’t pay the top rate. That’s wrong for AA. They pay the same as the 777/787.
I mentioned the 787 orders bc a lot of them are to replace lower-paying 767s.
Calm down and don’t be a tool. I was just trying to help correct your bad info.
