Last Friday, United did a hiring brief with AeroCrewSolutions V-Fare and United said they are still planning on hiring more in 2020 than they did in 2019, so the back half of the year will be busy.

I know it’s the slow season but the loads seem a lot less than normal especially in and out of SFO. It has raised my eyebrows for sure.

I would guess that is due to the China drawdown. Isn’t SFO the primary hub for that?

South America has been running pretty full the last two weeks.

That’ll happen you cancel 2 HKG, 2 PVG, PEK and 4 times weekly CTU.

that’s over 1000 seats a day.

I think you’ve got the causal relationship inverted: I’m guessing the seats were empty before the flights were cancelled.
