There will be periods in the airline when there are no vacancy bids. The base trade program was created as a way to change bases with out a vacancy bid. No man power inmapct to the company, while making 2 pilots happier. Obviously must be same fleet and seat.

The current open vacancy bid closes at noon on the 15th.

Some good news for you: the vacancy bid that closed out yesterday finished with 43 unfilled SFO 737 CA slots, and I’d say those are very likely to be offered again during your first vacancy bid on property.

Sigh. I didn't post that but it's being attributed to me for some reason...

Latest word, direct from the SVP Flight Ops, is that classes will resume in July with multiple classes per month through the rest of the year. So that's good news!!
