Pilots beginning class next week would have been assigned that date before the max 9 debacle began. I would not be surprised to see smaller classes in the next couple of months, but I would have been more concerned if there was an immediate knee jerk reaction to shrink classes and push back start dates.
They knew about the loss of deliveries 3 months ago. There has been no change in hiring outlook. How can you explain that?

The SEC filings are

1) a statutory worst case scenario game
2) not including any confidential, nearly-completed aircraft orders

Didn't SK say the 1 pilot we hire is 1 less pilot for the competition?

Not sure about your math.

Originally we were forecasting about 120 deliveries. You are suggesting that we are going to take less than 20 deliveries this year??? We have taken 8 so far, have 8 Maxes in assmbly/flight test and 3 or 4 321s in assembly/flt test.

Will deliveries be down from original forecast? absolutely. However, if you are taking bets on an over/under of 20---I will put everything I own on the over!

he's talking about an article that just dropped referencing taking 63 airplanes and the original number being 143.

Sorry for another one of "these" questions but could someone please provide the relative seniority of the G-Line for EWR756, LAX756, and LAX787 and DEN787?

Den 787 may be the most senior FO position in the system. it's above a lot of captain g-lines

Lax 756 is around a year (and is really LAX 757)
EWR 756 slightly more senior and generally regarded as one of the best bases in the system. Wide variety of flying, big base, hard to go wrong.

Lax 787 is over two years

But I suggest bid narrowbody, get your feet wet, learn the sytem and then bid up at your leisure.

It's straight from the SEC filing and includes all a/c not just 737

It's just something I've been thinking about.
A class ahead of me had the #2 overall Brown pilot in it. They bid and we’re awarded 73 CA. As former Purple, it was fun chatting with them.
