Wondering if anyone can shed some light here, waiting on a class date at the moment.

If awarded 756 SFO how long would it take to hold EWR as a base as a new hire?

If awarded 737 IAH how long to hold MCO (For a buddy)

Appreciate it and thanks in advance!

impossible to say for sure, but both of those options did not have any unfilled vacancies by the of our last vacancy bid. However the junior man on both of those bases went very junior. A WAG would be within 6 months for both those options.

Impossible to say for sure is 100% the correct answer. Just too many variables.

The next best answer is "not long" ... in the greater scheme of things

More speculatively, there has consistently been lots of movement into EWR 756 and I expect it would be weeks to months.

MCO is harder to say - it's both a new base and has been continually growing. TPA co-base is coming. More uncertainty there but less than a year is likely, perhaps much less.

Probably either this Friday or next, but there's no real schedule for them.

Probably another week or two. They’ve basically been running monthly. Looks like the screen refreshed which usually means they’re announcing soon.

lateral to EWR shouldn’t take long… but MCO might take awhile unless they add more spots.

From indoc class start date, you could be a line holder in 737 SFO or 756 SFO in 6 months or less.
