756 SFO and LAX on the other hand go more junior (756 SFO sometimes offered to new hires) and are not Global Reserve, just Basic Reserve in those bases.

The 777 going to new hires train has left the station. Pilots on property for 6 months were unable to get it on the last couple vacancies. You may have a chance of getting EWR 787 FO in indoc as it has been offered every once in a while, or get NB and get it or SFO 787 FO in a subsequent vacancy. If you get WB in SFO via this route, you will be commuting to reserve for a very long time. So to answer your question, you MAY get 787 WB in SFO eventually, then your QOL commuting to reserve will be bad. You won't hold WB in DEN or LAX your first year and by then, so many things may have changed it is unpredictable to give you a read on how QOL would be.

It's usually that way for the first few snapshots and then senior people put their bids in. Many do so on the very last day. At least that has happened the last 2 or 3 times. Anything can happen though.

That usually what happens every bid. The final is what will help paint the picture of the trend. But I agree, WB offer to NH train has started to apply its brakes. If a WB is offered to a NH, it will likely be SFO or EWR/SFO 787.

once that train stops, how long would it take a NH to get to a WB out of EWR?

There are plenty of trips that are rough, almost none are built like this, and even with delays and reassignments few are flown like this.
There is incredible variety in NB flying, at least at EWR: Alaska, CONUS, Caribbean, Central America, Canada, Mexico, Northern South America, and probably Europe soon. 2-leg 2-days with 25 hours off, yep; 6-leg 4-days with 35 hours off, yep; and 2-leg 1-days that pay 9+ hours, yep. There’s crap on every fleet, WB included, NB has crap too but with 6-12 months seniority it’s pretty dam good.

DEN questions
My goal is QOL in DEN, and I know that's not going to happen right out of class. So here's what I'm looking at. Based on recent drops there is plenty of 737 and 320 FO spots. I've been eyeballing IAH 737 because it is an easy commute and would lead the path to DEN 737 FO fairly quickly. However, I've been contemplating SFO 320 because it is also an easy commute and I have family there so no crash pad while commuting.
Based on current trends how long to DEN 320 FO vs 737 FO? And how long to a line for each?
Sounds like the 320 flying might be a bit crappier as well?
To recap, just looking for QOL in DEN. Don't really care what I'm flying neccesarily.
