Don’t take anything else voluntarily
Between hiring 50/week and new contract dynamics… impossible to make useful predictions. But it has been much less than a year to get 737/320 den recently

Starting Indoc soon and have a question.. aiming to bid anything SFO initially with intentions of eventually transferring to IAH (w/i 12-18 months). What aircraft would be easier to base swap? 737? 320?

They seem to be making IAH a mega base for the 737 since people won’t bid captain on the coast. For that reason alone, the 737 would probably have a better chance of a vacancy, but 320 vacancies aren’t rare either. The 737 in IAH is a much larger base than the 320. The current vacancy is staffing 737 FO at 497 and 320 at 142 pilots. The 737 will provide more varied flying, and far more pairings to build a schedule once you’re a line holder. The 320 is a much more comfortable place to work. Good luck picking your poison and welcome to the company.

A few Den 320 spots pop up about every 3rd or 4th class. You will pick on day 1 of INDOC. If Den isn't available initially, you should be able to get it through the first vacancy bid (held about every 2 months) for the 320, it may take two bids if you are on the 737.
