New Hire Classes and Drops

Agreed. Just announced up to 80% schedule in July. I keep knocking on wood, but we're getting closer to the point where hiring is not just an aggressive strategy for the future, but a present necessity!

Yep, “most,” and definitely not all. I’m still on the 787. Gronowski told me they’re putting a delay on training, at least for June due to 787 staffing issues. I’m waiting on my RQ2 class to go back to DCA 320.

They'd call, introduce themselves, then start making small talk while you wondered what they were going to say. Eventually, they'd ask if you were going to take your family out to dinner tonight to celebrate.

That's too bad. They used to have fun with the phone calls.

I still remember that call. I was doing a live check IAH-AEX, we just pulled into the gate, shut down the plane and I told the crew I was going up top to list for the jumpseat.
I turned my phone on it ringed and my life changed! I knew the CA fairly well. He asked who was that and I told him that it was my ticket to UA. Needless to say they passed their line check.
