The attorney who lost her seat seems to have a very detailed and believable explanation of the events. Sure looks like the work of some heavy handed gate agent....just happen to pick the wrong lady to mess with.
The idea that she canceled her reservation has no merit. Why would someone assigned 1A going home for the holiday cancel ? Because of a delay.... Doesn't add up....
I don't blame the congresswoman either....She didn't manipulate the reservation herself....
Blaming United.com is a weak effort to deflect responsibility. Somebody has the ability to see exactly who did this...

I can’t imagine anybody cares at all......Democrats certainly aren’t going to care about a racist white lady. Republicans aren’t going to care about a lady who was stupid enough to cancel her flight then complain about getting a seat AND $500 AND a not deserved apology.
Enjoy your 5 minutes.

Here is what Rep. Jackson-Lee said in her statement, in the linked article:
Since this was not any fault of mine, the way the individual continued to act appeared to be, upon reflection, because I was an African American woman, seemingly an easy target along with the African American flight attendant who was very, very nice," Jackson Lee said in the statement, according to the Houston Chronicle.
It is what the Representative said.

I find the fact that the race card was played here particularly disturbing. It was definitely NOT a factor here, from reading the article. I am at the point where I'm now very dismissive of racism accusations because it's been abused far too often. And it was definitely abused here.
