Spoke with a guy today in the XJT CPP in the top 20 that got his call for "a December class date". Said they didn't have an actual date, just that it would be in December sometime.

I am in the top 20 and got my call today as well. They told me the same thing. Said to expect December and I would get an email in next 2 weeks or so with the actual date.

Exactly.... all this indecision will just make the inevitable ambiguity of the major airline career easier to swallow, it's all part of the initial conditioning.

And they wonder why pilots don't trust management.

Other forum said problem solved with the November 28 class. Apparently a shortage of koolaide and they finally were able to find a vendor to restock.

Maybe Kirby thinks he can on get scope relief early... who needs 40 used Airbus and crews when you can have 200 new RJs.

Industry-leading pay (for RJ's at least) AND a quick flow to mainline...

Only way to ramp up a regional feed fast these days.

Wel since it looks like the class isn’t cancelled and it was all internal I’d say the unprofessionalism lies with whomever leaked the info before anything was resolved and started a frenzy.

In the way of all things internet, everyone gets in an uproar before they get the facts.

Nothing was leaked on the internet other than the official notice of the cancellation.

So no, it was not all internal.

On the other hand, whatever was going on internally to schedule a class, notify poolies, and then cancel the class a day later is an entirely different matter.

I haven't seen anything to indicate the classes are back on. Anyone get any official word of this?
