Addition to 1/3 of the bombers listed above, there's also US nuclear assets on the island "projecting power" in the region. And then there's a considerable fuel reserve that would allow the US to further project power and conduct operations in that region. That's the real target.

Oh right, all those B1, B2, and B52's stationed 1000+ miles from another US base and all they have are a few strings of lady fingers

I'm sure that any subs that might be in port in Guam, are just there for training too. No nukes....

N Korea seems to have forgotten about the sub and boomer fleet. Particularly those that now have conventional war head cruise missals.

I wonder if "Blind Man's Bluff" was translated into Korean? That book tells the tale of US subs hanging out in the Sea of Okhotsk for the last half decade. That's pretty close to the Sea of Japan as I recall.
