Remember that order of 60 737-700 that we were receiving this year. Those were to replace RJ's. Scott K tore up that order as his first piece of business. Because we didn't need them and he wants more RJ's. He said that the week after a paying passenger gets dragged off the plane and embarrassed every employee at United. And the flight was another RJ! Scott has to go. Our Union should come out with a vote of NO confidence. Scott make Jeff look competent. And Oscar is allowing him free reign.

XJT's pack Mel says no PAX above ISA+25. No clue if TSA has the same restriction. But TSA provides a more economical solution for united that's why a good amount of the XR's have been transferred to there.

Don't give a rats furry ass. This express shyte has had its time... whatever monetary savings there was has been wiped out in brand image and lost good will.

Exactly. It needs to stop. I've done my contract survey and heavily mentioned a lot of these issues.
JB and Swa are profitable without outsourcing their product to a B scale

Apples and oranges. Those airlines are completely different business and don't count of feed from secondary markets to fill large international aircraft.

It's not apples to oranges when talking about quality control by not outsourcing

United should be feeding its own international markets from the secondary markets using mainline aircraft. Not outsourcing to sub contractors with no skin in the game and clearly no ability to provide a satisfactory customer experience.

Not only do they have no skin in the game, but they continue to prove their incompetence over and over again. And it hurts United's brand...yeah I guess that management reaps what they sow, but we need to continue to fight against ANY scope relief and start bringing it back in house. This is getting out of control and will ONLY continue to get worse as the pool of applicants continues to dry up and even younger and less experienced guys fly these routes...we're already seeing some of the effects.

Get rid of all of them. get smaller planes in house. Yeah it would be more expensive to have the better qualified mainline pilots flying those routes, but in the long run it improves the brand, quality control, and reliability -and generates happier and loyal customers, therefore producing more revenue.
