Yes. They are being "re-accommodated", in the parlance of our times. They are being taken for the proverbial RIDE. This aggression will not stand, man! The rug really tied the room together.

Instructors don't fly the line any more in the summer than they do in the winter. At least not to any material way. They are best used in training.

So I saw in the SFO thread that some folks with CJO's have received notification from UAL that they have to wait longer for a BI class date...was the notification email? Phone call?
I interviewed and got CJO in early March and the white board near Doris' desk said expect June date, but I have yet to receive anything official stating the new expected date of November.

"Through May 2, we have added 316 pilots this year, including 253 new hires, 41 pilots returning from furlough and 22 pilots returning from extended leaves of absence.....we will now be taking a brief break from pilot hiring and new-hire training. We plan to resume new-hire classes in November, and we expect to have about 180 pilots ready to start those sessions."
Latest from company. Hope it helps.

Same thing happened back in 2014. I got caught up in it. Hired in Dec of 13 but didn't start until Aug of 14. They were backed up with upgrade 737 training. The good news is no one is interviewing after you and coming in above you, losing seniority. Hang in there!
