Default DEN Doubletree

Nice of the company to (not) put out a note informing us that the hotel-airport shuttle is no longer running. Waited for an hour before getting frustrated and calling them.

No info in the training support section of Content Locker either.

I could have sworn I read something about the hotel shuttle was going away. Not sure if it was on here or maybe a FOU. Sucks to lose that transportation option incase you missed the TK shuttle by a few minutes.

They did take the time though to inform us via CCS that the shower door in the men's room IAD downstairs lounge was OTS. Guess that was more important. 🙄

A firm grasp on the nonessential's! Did we by chance get some Cathay Pacific management recently? That's just embarrassing.

DT Hotel discontinued their airport transportatation as of January 1st of this year. The company put out several CCS messages regarding the cessation of services.
ALPA has reported on this numerous times since the situation started to develop. The last time it was mentioned was in the March 16th MEC Update: Hotel Committee Report.
The information has been out there for months.

It's been published by ALPA and the company for a couple months now, started the first of the year.

Hog
I was there in mid-December with no mention of it.

I also couldn't find any reference to it on CCS. Guess I missed it in the ALPA mailings though. My bad.

Two other people waiting didn't know the status either.

The info is in my Training Support in the content locker. Have you updated it? That one is not automatic.

Also, the ALPA mobile app has the info as well.

The other important part in every email regarding this for the last couple months is the reminder that after 30 minutes from block in you can expense your cab ride to the hotel. And between the doubletree and TK if you can't get on an over crowded Sheraton van. Sounds like people are having no problem getting reimbursed.

Credit where credit is due:

I logged onto the new MEC site and typed "Doubletree" in the search box. The first hit was info on this transportation issue in Denver.
