Because the Dems have done such a great job ingratiating themselves with most of America and grown the party

I'll be cautiously optimistic that in the next few months we will have a revised game plan for mainline growth that will be more sustainable and beneficial to our airlines long term financial health. I don't see any reason to get bent out of shape over something none of us have say or intimate knowledge on.
I think you're logic is sound. Let's wait and see before we make overzealous judgements. I don't like these two individual moves but I know they are part of a larger strategy.

How quickly we forget that the biggest threat to our careers, NAI, was approved by the previous administration. Liberal selective memory, methinks.

The open skies treaty that permits NAI's plan was signed by the president occupying office in 2007. We can all blame Obama for not violating a signed treaty.

Seems like a no-brainer considering his claimed platform, but I haven't noticed the current president lifting a finger either.

Selective indeed.

And the open skies treaty, as signed in 2007, was crafted to prevent exactly the kind of outsourcing that NAI is engaging in. It was Obama who allowed it to be interpreted as such. So, once again, you're wrong, thank you for playing.

Never mind that the previous "biggest recession since the Great Depression" was put in place by the Clinton administration.

So I should send my dues money to the DNC... not ALPA. Got it. Last I compared to contract 2000 it wasnt a record. Hiring has more to do with the Age 65 lottery winners clock running out.

I had no idea ol Barry negotiated on our behalf. But I guess by that logic you must revere former coworker Jeff.

Contract 2000 was a good one...negotiated during the Clinton era...the last Dem before Obama. Coincidence? Politics matter
