Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I had this happen to me once, and as I recall it turns out your standing bid doesn't get automatically imported. You actually have to hit SAVE as bid group to bring it over. I may be remembering incorrectly, but I'm pretty sure thats how it works. Seems crazy I know
If there is one, or more, regular bid groups then they are processed and standing bid groups are ignored.
If there are NO regular bid groups then the standing bid groups are processed.
Each month the regular bid groups are cleared out. If you don't touch it at all the regular bid groups will be empty and your standing bid groups will be processed.

People sometimes get a good line if they forget to bid due to how the system works.
If you don't have a submitted standing bid group, and didn't bid, the system will automatically put "Award Work L--", which drives to productive trips. Sometimes it works better than less than correct bidding by pilots.
On the PBS crew info screen, below where the final monthly bids come out, you can see a daily PBS snapshot on what bid and standing groups you have submitted at the time of the snapshot. The file has your employer number and a lot of other numbers. Click on one of those.

So, it turns out that even though I didn't bid, I got a line (my first one)... with mostly weekend flying. Now it's time to play with trip trades and see how that all works I guess. Thanks for the helpful (and humorous) responses.
