The reserve question;

A. Do you want the 5:00 show on day one?

B. Do you want to leave it the way it was?

NO you flipping MORONS we want it fixed!! 14:00 show on day one, no sched check on days off and give use the option of bidding pure long call or short call lines for the month.
Yup. And a 14 hour call out (to show not push you CHEATS) with hard monthly limits on SC and FSB (used or unused you HAND WRINGING SWINDLERS).

I especially like how they want to how much of your knowledge regarding the TA was obtained from social media. As if the cause of their “Industry Leading” TA going down in flames is solely due to all of the “FAKE NEWS” online, and not just the snake oil that they were trying to peddle. COMPLETE BUFFOONS!!!!

They've been too permissive with social media. Both the company and ALPA are to blame for that. We should feel safe when discussing the contract.

Listen to the earnings call from this week very closely. Based on numerous references from Scott Kirby, Brett Hart, Andrew Nocella, the following is more than obvious:

-United is giving the marching orders to our MEC

-They plan to rush out this TA with revisions asap (this was stated explicitly)

-United’s fuel cost increase of billions is being treated as a pass-through and is expected to be the new normal

-United is all in on the United Next growth plan and sees pilots as a critical piece - “Pilot recruiting, training, retention, we believe are real constraints for the industry for years to come.”

-United will do “whatever it takes” to achieve its margin targets connected to United Next (2023 - 2026).

Note: As the first contract of all the airlines in negotiations, United’s new UPA will set the floor for all the others, and these costs (however high they are!) will turn into a pass-through just like fuel.

Key Takeaway with all this: It doesn’t take a very bright person to see that THIS TA IS LEAVING BILLIONS ON THE TABLE - not just for United pilots but for the entire industry and profession. If we don’t clean house and start over we will have robbed the profession - present and future - of billions. Let’s do this! It is worth the work and the wait!

“to permissive with social media”? What does that mean?

if you feel unsafe, what is it you fear?

UA’s union leadership left so much money on the table that in the earnings call United management said they’re paying $2.6 billion in cash for airplanes in 2022. Every single one of those dollars should be going to the pilot group in addition to what they’ve budgeted for that garbage TA1.

I completed the poll and agree with the general sentiment here. I do, however, wish I had taken the time to record the questions so I could make this comment with greater precision. There was one aspect not mentioned so far that is critical. The survey had a couple places where the question boiled down to whether or not you thought starting from scratch was the best option even if it meant an indefinite delay. That question(s), if answered the same by a majority should send a clear message. If, on the other hand as I suspect, a large contingent of pilots answer that they want "something" sooner rather than later then I see TA.2 passing at 50.1% and that implies some of the garbage in the current TA is likely to survive. Just one dude's guess.

Thought the survey was great, they have an opportunity to boost pay, sick bank and retro and honestly in this economy for the next two years I’m happy. The guy in charge is waging a war on oil and big businesses in general. The middle class of our country is being crushed.

You're of the 15% who voted to take table scraps. Good on you, but the rest of us deserve better.
