Default 13 shills who voted to nominate Insler

Here’s the names of the 13 shills who voted to nominate Insler at today’s MEC meeting.

The vote was actually 13 In favor, 6 Against.

These 13 are part of the dedicated Insler A** Kissers that brought you this substandard TA and deserved to be recalled.

In addition to stacking your council meetings to recall this pro-management scum, you need to floor resolutions directing these reps to vote against Insler at the ALPA BOD meeting. 89 days and counting…

The 13 Insler Shills In Favor

C5 Johnson, MCullough

C172 Kallet, Fahl

C171 Edwards, Hastert

C33 Cramer, Hamilton

C93 Clay

C57 Combest, Findlay

C34 Ojeda, Jayo - (proxy from Eve)

Against

C11 Crister, Worster

C12 Morse, Anderson

C173 Clark, Bruch

A little off topic, but doesn't Barton turn 65 before the BOD starts? Serve as ALPA president a retiree?

Back on topic, why are surprised at this vote? Council new business for the next year should be centered around recalls, this is the worst MEC I've ever seen and don't appear to represent line pilots. You MoFos need to start paying attention to local council meetings or at least give your proxy to someone who is.

yes. First half of Oct. i have no idea of the rules, but would assume one has to be an active pilot to hold the position.

You'd think someone running for that office would

a) mention that little fact

b) know the rule and address it the campaign material.

I'll call it right now that there's no way in hell this MEC will convince the rest of ALPA to vote a United pilot into national office.

The ALPA president can be literally anyone.

It can even be a retired FedEx line check pilot/used car salesman/clown. Like the current guy.
He is so incompetent the National PR folks won't let him go on camera. But he did earn himself an extra $500+K by taking this gig and deferring his pension payout. ****ing POS.

Didn’t DePete retire right after he got elected?

Nope. You can be ALPA President beyond 65. Technically, you don’t even need a Private Pilot License…..could be a good idea?

Yeah, because the most powerful person in ALPA is the individual line pilot. I'm SO sick of hearing that tired line, they can't even fake sincerity when they spew it.

When DePete was elected ALPA President, FedEx refused to grant him a leave of absence to hold the position. Being First Vice-President was one thing, but being ALPA President crossed the line for FedEx management. So, DePete retired. He also deferred taking the FedEx pension he was eligible for until he left office.

As was mentioned above, the President of ALPA is the only one of the officers who is an employee of ALPA. Anyone can be the ALPA President and it is not tied to being a pilot or the mandatory retirement age for pilots. Example: Randy Babbitt was ALPA President when Eastern went out of business. He served out the remainder of his term.
