Default Pilot on the BUBBLE RPC/IBT

Ok i am sick and tired of reading through all of this mess and it is really not going anywhere. I have heard the sales pitch from both sides. I could not care less if it is one union, two unions, or whatever.

PLEASE NO SALES PITCH I JUST WANT ANSWERS

If i vote in RPC what are you going to do for me?

1.) Are you going to help fight for industry topping wages even for the RJ guys, or just sit fat dumb and happy and worry only about your airbus?

2.) Are you going to fight to strengthen your crap scope clause so the branded side does not allow future CPA agreements, code sharing, or joint ventures?

Ok well those are my 2 biggest concerns

Oh and this is just a question I have always wondered for F9.......Did Bedford Violate your contract to open the MKE base?

Thanks you for giving me a head start.

The RPC IS NOT 2 unions.

The RPC is an IBT model that works at multiple other properties.

How has the whipsaw started?

RAH is adding two airframes. airbus and 190/195.

I keep hearing whipsaw this and whipsaw that.

If the company is adding airbus, the only whipsaw that can occur is if the IBT agrees to fly the bus for less than FAPA rates.

If the company is adding 190's, the only whipsaw that can occur is if FAPA agrees to fly the 190 for less than the IBT.

FAPA already told the company to take their 190 rates and pound sand.

The only remaining whipsaw is sitting in the lap of the IBT.

RPC-the guys cutting a deal for concessions while IBT pilots were picketing the shareholder's meeting.Even though they signed away scope under 120,000 lb.,I'm sure they wouldn't screw you over, sell you down the river,etc...maybe.Go ahead and vote RPC,maybe one day you'll be worthy enough to interview at Frontier.Oh,and they'll probably want you to resign your seniority, since, well, they did.Did they tell you any names of who the RPC are ? I'm especially interested in the three RAH members.Mmm-hmm...

Mr Brosef,

Have you tried the RPC website? No cyber-tough guys and real names.

Republic Pilots Council

Keep asking your questions and make an informed choice.

Cheers T5

Thank you for attempting to learn more about an alternative to your current situation.

1) The RPC will be comprised of 3 "rj" pilots for every 1 airbus pilot. Obviously, the RPC will have a vested interest in obtaining the best possible wages for all RAH pilots.

With that being said, I honestly do not know what "industry topping" wages truly means. The current Chautauqua CBA has so many shortcomings it will be impossible to fill all of the leaks in the bucket with just one new CBA. That is the unfortunate reality that your reps will soon experience during Mediation.

The RPC will facilitate your current negotiation, if the IBT reps are interested in participating in a group effort.

This is the most important point and biggest difference between the RPC and IBT.

The RPC wil be a group effort, using a broad range of resources and experience.

The IBT will be your status quo as you know it today.

2. The gramatic tense of your question is not correct. The RPC is not "you" or "them" or "us". The RPC is the only option that will truly represent all 3000 pilots. Your concern regarding CPA's and codeshares is valid and complex.

Frontier already has a two CPA's with RAH. One with republic and one with chautauqua. I am pretty sure that all of us want those CPA's to flourish.

Jetblue has 10 " alliances" and they are a profitable entity. Frontier is working on multiple similar agreements, and if those agreements result in black ink we will all benefit.

The fact of the matter is "code share" is not a bad word for an LCC trying to gain market share and frequent flyer traffic.

MKE was opened by the company within the constraints of our CBA. FAPA still filed a dispute due to the strength of other language in our CBA. We quickly found ourselves in front of an arbitrator and actually ended up with better flexibility in MKE than our main base of Denver.

This is a critical point to understand.

Our CBA affords the company the right to do two things without an agreement in place.

They can open a domicile prior to an agreement on add/drop/swap limits.

They did and we prevailed with a huge win in MKE.

They can also add a aircraft prior to an agreement on pay rates.

We do not have an agreement on 190 rates, yet they will more than likely add them to our certificate.

Whoe do you want at the table?

The IBT, by themselves?

Or

The RPC, everyone together?

This will probably spiral into insanity on this message board, so please join the discussion at rahpilots.com.

FAPA has zero idea what kind of mess they are in. History always repeats itself, and they have failed to educate themselves about our management's history with unionized labor. They underestimate the intelligence and capability of our management. Our management is molding frontier labor into the EXACT shape they want it to be in. FAPA is naive enough to volunteer and assist them in their endeavors.

If you want to support the tried and true tactics and actions of YOUR current management, please vote FAPA/RPC.

If you want things to remain as they have always been, and slowly watch our step-brothers at Frontier get sucked into the abyss...VOTE FAPA/RPC.

If you feel you are smarter than 98% of your coworkers, VOTE FAPA/RPC.

If you have hope that some day this might be a place to be proud of, vote IBT. Two years from now, we can drop IBT. We must first get rid of the conformist FAPA leadership.

We must be one group, under one contract, with one voice. Vote IBT.

Quagmire,

One list, one voice, one CBA.

I get it, I have heard it 10000000 times.

One list is a reality. It already exists.

Once voice is a novilty, and if we had "one voice" this message board would not exist.

One Contract.

One CBA.

One Negotiation.

One FORCE at the table.

Who will get this CBA?

When will we get this CBA?

Stop preaching a catchy tune and answer the difficult questions.

Your own CBA has been amendable since 2007.

Who is going to get us the best CBA in the shortest amount of time?

One of your comments is worth quoting.

"If you have hope that some day this might be a place to be proud of, vote IBT. Two years from now, we can drop IBT. We must first get rid of the conformist FAPA leadership."

Are you interested in dropping the IBT, or are you more interested in getting rid of the conformist FAPA leadership?

What is your motivation? Do you want the best CBA for the 3000 RAH pilots, or are you more interested in punishing those evil FAPA guys?
