Everything sets a precedent. Allowing our scope to be avoided is a bad one to set. It's the one thing we have. Also BB isn't just going to sell off F9 without a struggle first. he wants to sit at the big boys table. This is more important than you think.

IBT "wins".

55% of 2946 eligible voters chose the IBT.
45% want anything but the IBT.

(I wish I knew the one guy that voted for AFA and the one that voted for swapa, that is some funny stuff right there)

This place is going to be a mess with such a divided group.

The ALPA polling earlier this year predicted a 50/50 split. Looks like their numbers were right on.

Who cares, 500 guys didn't vote. IBT had 1600 votes. In the end we are all screwed.

The bottom line is a group with 2000 pilots mired in mediation just took over another 1000 pilots that are really ****ed.

I am anxiously awaiting the "plan" to administrate the FAPA CBA. We have a few dozen disputes and another dozen SBA's and Arbitration's scheduled over the next two months.

How in the world is the Local 357 going to pay for these events? Who is going to argue on behalf of the Frontier pilots? If just one of these cases falls through the cracks there is going to be a DFR lawsuit. Meanwhile the FAPA reps are cleaning out their lockers.

FAPA proposed a council. IBT said no.
FAPA proposed a new Local. IBT said no.
FAPA proposed a designated bargaining unit until amalgamation. IBT said no.

The IBT wanted it, now they got it. Good luck boys. The Local 357 better come up with a plan and quick or they are going to find themselves filling an enormous void. The entire thing is really sad if you ask me.
