Default Come On John

“At this meeting, we’re going to break free of the chains that have bound us in the past seven years,” said Prater. “We’re going to chart a new course for our union’s future and the future of the aviators who will follow us for years to come.

Can't stop laughing even though it's not funny.

He and another politician use the same speech writer. Where was the line about him leading the pilots of the world into the light?

I'd like to know what it cost us for the big wigs to be in Vegas for this little bit of excitement. Anyone got any idea what we spend on one of these essential get togethers? From what I've heard it's similar to an AIG meeting on a smaller scale.

Default ALPA in trouble

ALPA is in big trouble...or is it the members that are in big trouble? Just heard from a very reliable source that the ALPA NCF is below allowable limits. It states in the bylaws that a trigger to increase the members dues has been reached. Prater hasn't acted on it yet. I'm sure he will. We can thank Prater in his infinite socialistic wisdom for that one. Maybe they need a paycut like we all took? Only a suggestion.

Default In vegas gambling and playing golf with your union dues??

Like I have said, unions should be a thing of the past. Their corrupt entities with only their self-serving, greed that guides them.

You statistically have a better chance of catching the plague than getting an answer to that.
