Referring to people who are threatening to quit in hopes that the place will collapse behind them, which is ridiculous. It's real simple: Trans States will staff all the planes it can. What it can't staff will probably go directly back to Xjet. This regional model will not sustain itself for too much longer. I kind of hope United screws themselves. They contract out half their flying to regional jets when they should be flying it themselves.

Haha guys like you are so funny. You read these posts and were like "I'm gonna tell these guys they are getting what they deserve" because some how whatever you are doing is a much more noble and correct path. You have never tried to better your career position because you stand for some cause right? you would never take any risks because you always think of the majority and not yourself. Pilots wishing others Mis-fortune. It's like being negative for the sake of being negative. Nobody wants your sympathy dude.

Typical. The average time a street captain type hire lasts at a regional is 6 to 12 months. It's just amazing how you guys don't see the big picture. Not to mention if you guys do become captains you guys will be at the bottom for a while. If you're already *****ing now, you should quit because it won't get better for a few years.

That's one of the issues but is more of a side point.
-not paying us when we sit CA reserve (and no one in payroll has a clue)
-not being able to bid an CA open time (which is ridiculous because it's based on seniority so we aren't taking it from any other senior CA)(this just happened yesterday and were still trying to find out why, we were told that the Union had no idea bout)
-when we DH or do a training event as a CA we are payed at a blended rate instead of CA rate.
-Using junior CQFO's as CA when the FO is a senior CQFO (this is happening a lot and scheduling is tone deaf to it. (this is probably the most common)
-We were told that when sitting AR1/2 (airport reserve) that we are at a blended rate and when we get used as CA it changes to CA rates for the whole period...that hasn't happened.
and the MOU is suppose to dispel and clarify all of this...

Many of us warned folks of the crap company that Transtates is. All you have to do is look at it's history. Some fine pilots there but the problem is the owner and management. This is more than growing pains. Have flown with MANY former TSA'rs that said this would happen... Best of luck to those getting hosed.

What you guys not getting about this. We aren't ****ed that we haven't upgraded in six weeks or that we have flown right seat.
BUT that the promises of pay rules were set and are not being fulfilled. This MOU was suppose to define all of this and so when we go and fight it with Payroll, it can be more than just a He Said She said mess that creeps up the chain to the COO.
CBreezy should be upset at this but he appears to just insist that we are FO's and ignore some serious issues. He must acknowledge that these planes won't come if they don't keep us here...and if I'm not here...who's going to read you your checklist or eat your pretzel.
