You're a first officer. A super junior one at that. If you'd like, when you sit as an FO for me I'll call for the checklist.
The company is handling this incredibly poorly. Even CP interpreted it one way while scheduling trolls another. I don't know what a solution would be.

Being Junior has zero to do with this, it's about the position we were hired to do...I can't wait to meet you...I'll buy you a big ole' pretzel

That's one of the issues but is more of a side point.
-not paying us when we sit CA reserve (and no one in payroll has a clue)
-not being able to bid an CA open time (which is ridiculous because it's based on seniority so we aren't taking it from any other senior CA)(this just happened yesterday and were still trying to find out why, we were told that the Union had no idea bout)
-when we DH or do a training event as a CA we are payed at a blended rate instead of CA rate.
-Using junior CQFO's as CA when the FO is a senior CQFO (this is happening a lot and scheduling is tone deaf to it. (this is probably the most common)
-We were told that when sitting AR1/2 (airport reserve) that we are at a blended rate and when we get used as CA it changes to CA rates for the whole period...that hasn't happened.
and the MOU is suppose to dispel and clarify all of this...

I completely understand some of your frustrations, but channel it to KS and the Union; I have no doubt things will get worked out. What I don't really have tolerance for is you coming on here and trashing the company when you've barely gotten off IOE. I'm sure most of you will be full captain by the fall. The growth at this company has barely begun.

Again, give your notice and go where? Compass is the only place I can think of that may be a better 'lateral' move, although that could be a problem since TSH owns them. Not to mention how all these moves will look on your resume to the majors. You've been on line for barely 2 months and yet you guys (CQFO's) think you're the glue holding this place together. Instead of coming on APC with your empty threats, put your notice in and leave.

I'll tell you what I dont appreciate then. Someone telling me where I can and can't btch about my company. Believe me that we've all done the union, CP, and KS song and dance. At this point, it seems the can is being kicked down the road as far as results go. It's always next week or later and never gets done. Why no update? Why no separate letter for things they're stuck on? It's just getting old. As I've said before, if you can't whine about your job on APC, then where can ya? Get over it.

You were hired to be a first officer than can fly as a Captain. You're dual qualified but you still fit at the very bottom of the list. You knew this going into it. You knew the risks. At the very least, most of the CQFOs I've talked to are spending half the time in the left seat. And even if you aren't, with the growth we have, you'll be a full captain fall.

In other news... APC is full of ding bat chime-ins that have nothing to do with anything this evening. Grab some corn.

Empty threats? I'm not threatening anything or anyone. I have simply been offered my old job back at full seniority. So if TSA won't pay me what they said they would, then it only makes financial sense for me to go back. It's quite simple.
