I gotta say this is pretty comical...
Earlier people were arguing paid hotels during OE and being compensated appropriately and it has somehow evolved to a TSA vs 9E ****ing contest.
Mind you, 9E FOs are making as much, if not more than TSA captains (especially in training according to this thread)
You can argue 9E might not be around in a few years but an all 50 seat fleet doesn't exactly have more stability given current industry consolidation...
Continue on ladies and gents, i just thought I'd point out the irony in this thread's development.

Also, the TSA pay scale is higher than the Endeavor payscale. There is NO way an Endeavor FO is making more than a TSA Captain. $20k equates to approximately $20/hour. So, the maxed out $39/hour on the 900 turns into $59/hour. So, a new hire FO will make more than a new hire FO at TSA until year three pay, when the TSA FO will be making more until that person retires or moves on to a higher paying job.

THere is no irony in this development. Until recently, it was one of the worst contracts in the regionals. So, you're right, now they have $20k in bonuses, up to 80k, right? I have to applaud to that development. Tell me, what's going to happen in 4 years once that bonus runs out and the FO that was just hired is still in the right seat for another 2 years?

How recently are we talkin? Because the PNCL 2011 JCBA blows TSA's out of the water. Even their current CBA with a 20k annual bonus is equal or more probably higher given the fact they are offering 200% for their open time. Yea, there's a lot more to a contract that just section 3, but you keep paying attention to that if it makes you feel better.
As for what happens in 4 years, what happens if TSA shuts down and all those FOs upgrade WITH that bonus if it all happens as Delta's management predicts? We can sit here and throw out 'what ifs' all night long but we both know 4 years in this industry is a crap shoot. How long before you "escaped" your last carrier? Half that time?
My point still stands, this thread becomes less objective and more hilarious with each post from you cheerleaders.

Leases are dirt cheap on 50 seaters for a while, and TSA will be in good shape till the MRJ gets worked out one way or the other. Holdings is not going to let qualified pilots just walk away in the present staffing environment which is expected to get worse not better so TSA pilots will be fine no matter what happens. Many here do not expect the present organizational structure (3 certificates) to be the case with TSA Holdings five or ten years from now.
