On a differnt note, for those thinking about coming over, if my ground school class is a representative example, the fat lady may have not yet sung on the quick upgrade.
Out of 20 starting in early 2015, 10 are no longer w/ the company. Losses: 1 major, 1 ULLC, 1 dream corp job, 1 int'l cargo, 1 quit, 1 fired, 3 training failures, 1 FBI match.
Talked to a guy heading to HOU for sims last month. He said classes are running 6 or less, 2x month. They had 1 training failure out of his 6.
I haven't tryed to figure the actual # of pilots on property cuz it seems that we are hemorrhaging from the bottom, if not from the top, so I'm not sure seniority number on the monthly bid means much.
Troll spoiler: Yes I have vested interest in attracting more new hires, yada-yada. Just stating facts.

No doubt management needs to do something to attract new hires. They had to know CQFOS would be very short term. And if they didnt, they do now. If they have to come back to us and ask for more for first officers, which they will because they need to recruit, then we can ask for more in other places.

CQFO'S have been leaving because they were fed a load of sh!t about the program. Many would have stayed if they were told the truth.

CQFOs are leaving because they are going to Majors and ULCCs. Many are getting to fly in the left seat and bid on the Captain list. Others are able to pick up time as Captain. In fact, 12 just upgraded to full Captain. That's more than 10% of the CQFOs on the seniority list.

Are you a sad little boy because CQFOs weren't given golden toilet seats? They are Captain Qualified First Officers. That language was written into the contract to protect FOs on property and it has done that. There was no lying or duping. You knew they were going to be on the bottom of the list and, as dual qualified pilots, be used in whatever capacity they are needed. I don't feel bad for a single one of them, especially those that have moved on to greener pastures.

Wrong...Allegiant isn't well shouldn't be greener pastures along with a number of other moves. They moved on because this place is ran like a Somalian sh!thouse and the juice wasn't worth the squeeze!

So CQFOs leave to start again at the bottom of another regional? HaHa that is very funny or pilots are stupid. Hey I want to leave an airline that I get paid the best first year rate (CQFO blended rate)???? I hate to tell you but there are problems at every regional. If they leave to go on to majors or what they feel is a better airline for them in the long run then good for them. Most people don't come here to stay.

Nobody feels sorry for you CQFO's. Not the people here...not the people at your last company. Nobody.
