Part time or full time and a sim instructor on the side. That coupled with your looking for 121 work = former, fired 121 pilot turned flight sim extraordinaire.

And for that matter, most of the CQ's. Seeing how insane they are I can't believe they didn't cry about not getting graduation parties for each level of training completed.

How come that's not in the contract! Rabble rabble rabble.
Once again ***, the training here was terrible. It was easy for me and I don't think a lot of CQs had problems. At least not as many problems as the traditional upgrades. But this place uses the cheapest method possible. BBW is right, the hotel they put new hires in is unacceptable. What a joke....

Initially I was trying to do it the right way, I would've rather they planned on me not being there. But it was the captain I was flying with that called scheduling when I wasn't at the gate for the deadhead, that's how they found out.

The way to handle it for me would have been to resign right then, that's what I did wrong.

They wouldn't know unless your crew turned you in asking where you were.

That sucks bro. I never call scheduling unless we're like 10 min from boarding and they're not there. But yea, you need to be there and on time especially if you're new.

Particularly when you are on RSV and it is the first leg of the trip. They can still reassign you to something else.

For sure, and per the contract they were right. But scheduling's "we don't give a **** attitude" rubbed me the wrong way. So I should of resigned there instead of going as far as I did.

Or beg for forgiveness because you couldn't make the deadhead and tried to do the next best thing, instead of telling them off, deriding the company and scheduling, and arguing how right you are and how wrong they are....

Rule of thumb.....when you get caught doing something you're not supposed to....beg forgiveness, apologize, and swear not to do it again. Don't give the boss a bunch of attitude and be self righteous....you will have a job much longer.
