Part time or full time and a sim instructor on the side. That coupled with your looking for 121 work = former, fired 121 pilot turned flight sim extraordinaire.

This is Archer, Mistakes, and BBW after training here.
And for that matter, most of the CQ's. Seeing how insane they are I can't believe they didn't cry about not getting graduation parties for each level of training completed.
How come that's not in the contract! Rabble rabble rabble.

Dude why did you ask them? I guarantee they would have forgotten about you. You got called because you alerted them. At the very least you could have plead stupidity infront of the CP and that has actually worked with others. By calling them you showed intent to break the rules.
The way to handle it for me would have been to resign right then, that's what I did wrong.

Initially I was trying to do it the right way, I would've rather they planned on me not being there. But it was the captain I was flying with that called scheduling when I wasn't at the gate for the deadhead, that's how they found out.

For sure, and per the contract they were right. But scheduling's "we don't give a **** attitude" rubbed me the wrong way. So I should of resigned there instead of going as far as I did.

Rule of thumb.....when you get caught doing something you're not supposed to....beg forgiveness, apologize, and swear not to do it again. Don't give the boss a bunch of attitude and be self righteous....you will have a job much longer.
