I know your story, I've had it confirmed from multiple sources, and you keep coming on here like it was the company's fault. You can blame a lot of things on this company, but you getting fired was YOUR own doing. You made the choice, and you were burned for it. This place didn't walk all over you in the slightest.

As for guys scooping sh!t on this place, spreading mis information, enjoy it when the aircraft go back and you're gone. That should be a nice slice of pie to chew on. I'm going to love listening to you whine about having to go and start over AGAIN, because you pi$$ed a good opportunity away.
Well, then you must live in a bubble, because I've talked to other pilots have done the same.

I never said getting fired wasn't my fault. I did say, based on my experience, it's a crappy company. Shoot I was ticked off at the company way before they fired me. My mistake was not quitting in time.

Hum.... I wonder what TSA cheerleader #1 (Mavav8r) is going to post tonight? He's probably busy telling the MODS how to do their jobs again. Either that or he's running around Ferguson, trying to recruit future TSA flight Attendants. Oh well... Thought I'd crawl out of my hole and say hello.

Am I mistaken in understanding that TSA is hiring and upgrading CQFOs first, and that by doing so this will delay times of upgrade for FOs who had started as FOs with zero 121 time from the very beginning? How is that affecting normal FO upgrade times nowadays? Some unbiased answers from APC users who aren't trolls would be indefinitely welcomed!

It does not affect upgrade times for FOs. Worst case that could happen is if they stop running classes. But then affected FOs would get bypass pay.

For the FOs in this situation, I don't think there will be issues unless the music stops OR the company hires a bunch more cqfos and upgrades a bunch quickly (which I don't think they intend to do). There's a lot of movement right now, and I don't think many cqfos will stick around long after they hit 1000 tpic. The cqfos that came in last winter had a lot of experience and I know several personally that have moved on to united, spirit, Atlas, and swa for example. Plus we are losing traditional captains to the majors too.

However if the music stops, FOs like myself with less than 1000 tpic could find ourselves stuck as FOs with captains junior to us.

No they weren't. If you look at the standing bid sheet. You have DEN and IAD FO's that have bids in for CA. Those CQFO's were awarded full captain out of seniority.
