Its not personal, its business. Its up to each individual to decide if it's good enough, but don't be so naive that you believe they won't be right back with a better offer.

Their job is to get our services for as little as possible. Its management 101. The first offer is never the best offer. The question is whether they can get 50%+1 to vote it in.

It won't matter the guys for this are the ones that think Hulas will close up shop if we don't say yes. They're worried about something more than not getting a pay raise. Cbreezy brought up the fact that they stopped some routes out of PIT like its the end of the world.

The company is tripling in size and are probably making a shi ton of money. Labor negotiations were obviously factored in and most certainly with a few percent fudge factor for when we turn it down. I'm sure the company is still laughing that the nc and mec is passing this on to us.

Yeah I saw that. Pro rate is usually the least profitable flying they do with the most risk. If you are short on staffing it would be the first flying to get pulled. Hard to say for sure because the company is private, but most regionals prefer FFD over pro rate because they have a guaranteed profit margin.

A yes vote on this is a complete 'suckers bet'. The company will laugh us out of the building if this passes (while filling their pockets with money we left on the table). You know, for all your so called masters degrees, you have zero common sense...nor any street smarts.

The industry leading contract (AWAC) has a TA that will increase the economic value of that contract.
Other TAs that were not concessionary:
RAH - rejected
Mesa
Compass - arbitrated
Skywest - ratified

I'm not saying I would have necessarily voted no. But it's important for people to go to the road shows and get all the info.

AWAC is losing % points on their health insurance. Mesa, I hear is losing DH pay credits or some qol language. Skywest doesn't really count.

The company will not be paying the bonus if this is ratified. Honestly what are you looking for? If you think the next offer will be double what you're getting your wrong. This has all been direct negotiations with the company. If this gets voted down, you really want the same guys at the table as last time we had negotiations? Again, I don't think it's worth it to take a chance and vote this down. Could be a long and painful road for everyone involved. Do people really think the company just passed this offer across the table and the union took it? There were negotiations involved over several months. But I guess every pilot group should vote down the first TA reached because they must have a better offer in their back pocket. Go to a roadshow and learn a thing or two please.
