For the record, I don't think Trans States is the sh!t, but it's hard to listen to people bash the place when they have no clue what the hell they're talking about. When you live in base, upgrade in 2 years, and have a pretty good contract, it's not bad for a regional. The relationship between our DO and the pilot group has been great. Our Union guys will go to bat for you all day. If you show up and do your job like a professional, life isn't bad at all. Like every other place, it does have some drawbacks...but that's life. 90% of the problems are caused by 10% of the people...that's the truth.

I see the same TSA names like Mav, teamramrod, coney and his crew blasting vomit in all the threads and it just makes me think, do you guys realize who you work for or what you are currently doing to other pilot groups as you take flying from others? No regional is perfect, but you guys need to realize that TSA has taken flying from multiple groups also for years now. Remember "No Alter Eagle Jet"? Please just do me a favor and make honest assessment when you go bashing everybody when TSA has plenty of problems in its own house.
Every regional has its problems and said problems will never change......these are the facts of life people. I just love reading the "you **** all over my career by taking lower pay and stealing our flying" rants on these forums. The best is someone from a "superior" regional on their high horse when that company has probably screwed over the same amount or more pilots in the past at multiple companies.

Yes, every regional sucks...haven't we beat that horse to death on every thread? It's a fukking job you dipsh!t. You fukking clowns need some perspective in your life. Should we just shame ourselves until United calls? We're one terrorist attack away from being back on the street...or stock market crash. Stop telling me how ****ty life should be because we work for a regional. We get it. **** already

So now that you are getting all this flying from others wont your schedule now get better at the loss of pilots at XJT and Envoy. Oh but you are making the gains so you don't want to talk about this. Are you not going to get a huge seniority boost as you add aircraft and pilots to staff all this other flying? Don't forget that the reason you got all this flying is because you are cheaper. Your contract is garbage compared to these other two carriers. So you and Mav and his clan can continue to come on this board and bash others and cheerleader for TSA, but we all know the truth about that place and the flying you are taking from others!!!!!! Why don't you make an honest assessment of the place you work at and what you are doing to the industry by taking that POS contract after 7.5 years of negotiations. Why don't you look at what you are doing by taking all those aircraft from other carriers!!
Please point out where TSA pilots took any pay concession, or negotiated a contract to specifically circumvent the CBA at Envoy or Expressjet. I don't see you chastising Expressjet for taking Envoy airplanes. Once again, comparing what happened with Gojet to what is going on with UAL or AA moving aircraft is apples to oranges. Gojet was created specifically to circumvent the TSA contract by the same company. If Envoy or Expressjet created an alter ego division to move flying there and circumvent their contract you would have a point, but this is not the case here. The closest you could come to that would be Skywest Inc moving flying from Expressjet to Skywest, but I don't see you raising hell over that. You have a weed up your can about TSA, fine. But to compare what is happening with TSA getting aircraft that it outbid other companies for to a company creating an alter ego division to get around a CBA is completely different.

Right which is why if they aren't scabs. They're doggone close. Without those traitors jumping initially, Gojet would have fallen apart.

Every regional sucks, but Gojet was created for the specific purpose of violating a CBA as an alter ego at the same company.

Well actually no it wasn't. Gojet itself was fine, they had to create it in order for Hulas to fly the crj7 because they had to be on another certificate. The issue was the separate list. Basically like RAH and its certificates or Mesa and Freedom. But those pilot groups agreed to concessions basically to keep everyone together. Tsa pilots obviously said no and there was the debacle that ensued.

Yes I was oversimplifying things for the low information crowd. At the time AA had a restriction on 50 seat aircraft and had to create the new certificate and the company decided to use it to get around the TSA CBA requiring decent pay rates on the 700 after TSA pilots refused to fly them at garbage rates. Now that the 50 seat limitation is gone, that flying needs to be put back on the TSA contract where it belongs, not at an alter ego carrier.
