Of course. I'm not talking about the future. I'm talking right now. TSA is in trouble if they aren't thinking about the future.

Yep. But I could understand a CQFO who isn't close to upgrade moving to PSA for the opportunity to go to American and the guaranteed upgrade vs waiting here and hoping all the growth goes as planned.

We are already in trouble. Our class sizes have been in the single digits. Sick call monitoring and junior mans are happening. I hope they have a better plan than the CQFO program and a hope and a prayer to get people in the door.

I see a continuing reluctance on the part of the company to adapt or put out much effort to recruit pilots. It's as if they still think they're running a small airline out of the Midwest with an abundance of pilots happy to work for peanuts and a mediocre contract.
Up the bonus, cover commuter hotels, set up hiring agreements with university programs, I don't care but show some kind of initiative to get people in the door then act like you want them here. We aren't the only company hurting but we sure as hell could be doing more to be competitive.

Go away, I'm sorry Tsa turned you down. We don't even use those charts, you have no idea about what you're talking about. And if that's how you feel about the pilot group that's giving you a ride, be a man and tell us who you are and where you commute from. Don't be a ***** and hide behind a screen name talking smack.

I have no doubt the company is dragging its feet because the contract negotiations are just getting started. They could fix all of it with responding to the extension offer from ALPA rather than try to hold out during the growth.

How big is the class that started on the 2nd?

I think we are okay. The training department is clogged worse than BBWs toilet. There is a 6 week wait for Capt OE. Maybe they've slowed the FO classes like the upgrade ones because guys are having a hard time getting consolidated due to long waits.

If we're junior manning on a daily basis we aren't ok. If we are offering 200% for open time pick ups we aren't ok. There is a back up training wise because we can't get check airman online fast enough, but until those guys are released to the line and available to work flights they're no good to us from an operational perspective.
If you do the math, that's 6 airplanes of flying at a minimum. Probably at least 10-12
