So come up with an adequate excuse. This isn't just TSA. Everyone knows pilots use sick time to get paid to not work. Delta is trying to put a stop to it as well by trying to mandate notes after 14 days of sick call a year. Don't get on your high horse about how you were actually sick. You weren't.

How do you know he was or wasn't sick? Can you see through time and space? Can you see other dimensions? You sound very arrogant. And no pilots do not use sick time to get paid, maybe you do. Most call sick because they can't fly due to being overworked or actually being sick.
I'm not sorry that you feel my brutal honesty sounds like arrogance. It happens and IS happening. Management is full of pilots too. You don't think they can't see a connection between junior manning/reroutes and a spike in sick calls during, historically, a time that nationally has the least likelihood of illness?

Well, if the chief pilot calls you and asks why you called in sick, and you can't come up with a reasonable excuse, then they'll ask you to. It is technically not permitted to use sick time if you aren't sick. It's in your contract and even places like Delta are trying to cut back on sick call abuse.

That DEN captain can make a butt load of money if he takes advantage of the 200%. The guy has vacation the whole month. I'd jump all over it....

The problem with Lidos has always been inaccurate information; not the pilots' inability to read them.
