There are the random lines where you can see anywhere between 4-6 (4 happens, but 5 or 6 is rare). On reserve you will get to request 2 series of 3 consecutive days where you are guaranteed to be off and scheduling can't call you. Choice of these days are seniority based. There isn't much room for trading, dropping, swapping trips because of the lack of reserve coverage. I was denied everything for July except for adding a trip.

We are running a little behind with hiring especially for the summer months. Looks like we are putting 20-25 through a month. Reserve guys are slim and they are working hard. There are still a lot of airplanes coming and we need all the guys we can get. As an August new-hire, IMO I think you could still expect a 24 month upgrade.
All true. Staffing is still okay for now. Not fat by any means, but we aren't going to stop taking airplanes anytime soon. If you have the time you will upgrade faster, if you don't plan on his timeline.

FYI, 6 people in our July 6th class. Apparently there were supposed to be nine but they didn't show so they are going to the late July class.

The previous class has a significant number in it.

Our quarterly newsletter is an embarrassment to those of us who can actually fly a jet AND manage the cockpit.

I actually thought it was pretty entertaining. Specially using the words like "pugnacious, ex post facto, scolded like a child, unnecessary rude and belligerent grilling."

I thought it was entertaining to see an ASAP for a high speed warning at .78. Just collect the beer from the pilot flying and move on.

Literally. And the search for the pdc in the ATS LOG page. Bet you a dollar you'll never find it in there.

I wonder how many of those were from Kyle Meyers. I suspect ragging on the FA's will be in the next issue? Couldn't resist... I tried.

Looking at some of these, I'm wondering when guys will file ASAP's for pay reports, not being properly hydrated, etc

ASAP: Forgot to submit my pay report. I promptly corrected this, and submitted said Report/Discrepancy. I am very disappointed in my actions, and I swear it will never happen again.

ASAP: Took whizz in lav, noticed pee could be sold as gold and smelled funny. Drank a Dasani, all was good. Pee smell gone.
