1 on 1 has always been very straight forward and is mainly a get to know you, are you trainable type of experience.
Still a great time to get in on the growth as we are no where close to being done yet.

Hey TeamDip****, I do file grievances...monthly. That's the only way I get paid correctly. Do you really think that's the way to run a company? Ive got a few thoughts of my own:
1. You've got a screw loose
2. I'd fire the payroll department for complete incompetence....effective immediately.
Getting the union involved monthly just to get paid correctly is completely ridiculous. This last time, the union fixed it as they always do. She (payroll) corrected her mistakes. At the risk of sounding redundant, I sent another email just to confirm what was still owed, and she replied with confirmation that we were all on the same page. She STILL SHORTED me what I was owed! That's when I was beginning to think these weren't all honest mistakes. Yes, my patience has run out. Do not mess with a man's money. That is life 101 sh!t.

It's getting to the point where there needs to be a form for everything ( as the CQFO's see ) to get paid correctly right now. I'm only assuming it's due to the laziness/incompetence and being overwhelmed by doing it for 3 companies. It's not an excuse, but it is the reality of the situation, and I'm sure as hell not going anywhere because I have to fill out a pay form.
However, if it takes filing a grievance to get paid then that is what needs to be done, and unfortunately that's the way things seem to be rolling right now. One can only hope that it gets better when Lufthansa comes online.
I can say this, I always end up A. Getting Paid and B. Get Paid correctly. So there's that.
If that riddle grad completes the flight safely, I'd fly with him/her 8 days out of the week over a dbag that won't stop talking about his last 3 airlines. Agree to disagree.
Fiesty. Just the way I like it.
1) I've got more screws loose than an EP that's been flying on IOE for the last 3 weeks.
2) I would do the exact same. I'm not disagreeing, it's ridiculous we have to get the union involved to get paid appropriately… but you gotta do what you gotta do.
I'm sure 90% of the CQFOs are great. I can only weigh in on a few. One is a friend that got hired and hasn't complained once through all of this. Seems like less people get ****ed off if you put your head down and power thru sh!t rather than taking to a forum to complain. With that being said, the few CQFOs I've run into in crew rooms that are p!ssed off that they are flying as an FO and insist on doing stuff the way they did it at their last airline…. they far overshadow the great CQFOs that TSA is lucky to have.

May be a little out of my element here, but the last I knew the simulator was no more. I'm guessing they still make you take the 50 question ATP style written.

When did you interview and go through training?
I'm guessing hotels are still double-occupancy in training?

For a while it was kind of hit or miss whether or not it was single occupancy or not, but lately it seems like its back to double.

It's been a long while since my new hire training. From what I've heard it's been double occupancy. My class was double occupancy, but I didn't see it was a negative.
