I have a few questions that I would like some answers on from pilots currently at TSA.
1. Is it confirmed that the CQFO program is no longer active for new hires?
2. Does TSA still accept part 135 TPIC time for the upgrade requirements?
3. For a new hire FO, is DEN an easily attainable base out of training? FO reserve time at DEN would be? Same two questions but as junior CA?
Thanks!

So if someone met all requirements for upgrade, before coming on board with TSA, how long currently would the upgrade time-frame be for a new hire FO?

As far as DEN, it has been slow to ramp up, so its pretty senior right now. But I heard that the next 10 united planes we get are going there, so the base should grow quickly. For July they are transferring about 12 captains and 12 FOs/CQFOs to DEN. So if things keep up at that pace, it will eat through the people already on seniority list fast. To play it safe, I would plan on commuting to IAD or STL for a couple months, but depending on your timing with getting hired and training you may be pleasantly surprised with getting DEN even sooner than that.

Do Trans States pilots need to wear the hat in the summer or only when the jacket is worn?
