How long have you worked for TSA....less than 2 years? Less than 1 year??

Also, you falsely made an assumption that questions the experience and judgment of a fellow pilot/coworker based on his job title, which couldn't have been more wrong. You've clearly shown how much of a douche you really are.

Also, I've been on the jumpseat of a UAL Airbus that also flew into hail on short final. Both pilots were ex-military, the CA ex Air Force academy, with more years flying for the airlines than you've probably been alive, yet it happened to them. Care to question their judgement and ability?
I do find it kind of funny that the guy who flew through hail also just so happened to be in the group of people that many people on here have commented about attitudes and arrogance.

To your other points, I really don't care how much more time he has than anyone else. I've flown with Captains who have ten-thousand PIC experience in 4 different airplanes and didn't trust them to fly and handle the radios at the same time. Just because you have so many more hours experience than anyone else doesn't make you above criticism.

I don't care if this guy was your friend. I REALLY don't. He could be Sully. I will always question the judgement of anyone who slides off runways, has a runway incursion or flies through a hail shaft. If I did any of those three things, I'd be questioning what I did and not blaming it on meteorologists, no one else reporting it, or ATC giving a warning.

I didn't ask you if you cared. Mav was alluding to the fact that CQFO's are somehow inferior pilots, when in fact, he couldn't be more incorrect. People like him are the reason why they have to put directions on shampoo bottles in this country.

People like "him?" You mean guys who fly through hail storms?

You're making the exact same assumption he is based on your own personal experience. He very much could be correct based on his experience. Just because you don't like what he has to say and that it makes all CQFOs look bad doesn't mean he's incorrect. I've flown with exemplary CQs and I've flown with terrible ones. Some didn't make it through training and were bumped back to FO. I'm not on here to pet your ego. I have and will always call it like I see it. That's the beauty of an anonymous forum.

I could say all Comair pilots were dbags because every one I ran into couldn't stop talking about how awesome it was there. I could call all Endeavor pilots reckless because a few I've been on the jumpseat with never even bothered to open their Jepp manuals. I could call all ATPs "graduates" hacks that are bringing this profession down. I'll say what I want, when I want, and I don't care if it offends anyone.

Ok, well then here are some things that I've seen as well. The upgrade fail rate for First Officers is SIGNIFICANTLY higher than that of CQFO's, who literally came in off the street with either no knowledge of the airplane, or knowledge of TSA's op specs/procedures/etc. or BOTH. FO's going to upgrade are failing at an alarmingly high rate, yet they have advantages no CQFO did. How do you see that?

Also, I question why people came here off the street the last couple years, when arguable every other carrier had much better opportunities. Is it because no other regional would touch them? How do you see that?

Is it lather, rinse, repeat...or rinse, lather, repeat. Showers always take so long. For that, and other reasons.

It's so much fun, and easy, to get you riled up man. I hope I fly with you someday.

The 2 square mile block in Chicago hasn't been hit by hail in 4 years and therefore it hardly ever gets hail? Would you like to buy a house on the Florida Atlantic Coast? You won't need insurance because Hurricanes haven't hit there in at least a decade.

I guess airplanes only operate on the surface of ORD. They definitely don't fly over any of those suburbs and it wouldn't matter anyways because hail teleports from space to the ground. No way an airplane would ever hit those.
