And then there's having to inhaling the unbrushed flu breath of the mouth-breather before you. No amount of sanicoms will protect you from that.

From the list of approved headsets, does anyone have input on which ones are a comfortable pair for what we fly? I have DC's as well, and they're not too comforlable after a while. Looking to get something more comfy and not too expensive.

I've flown with a Bose X for years/several thousand hours and have no complaints. They can be pricey but call and ask them about payment options. I was able to break it up into payments over the course of a year.

Yea it was that 1000 dollar price tag that made me cringe, but payments over a year would be doable I suppose. Anything Bose is quality.

I got a kick out of the first paragraph of the fcom bulletin. I've never seen anything like that in an faa approved bulletin. Atleast we know that if one person isn't found in compliance with the headset usage policy, instead of dealing with that person individually, we will have a grade school style loss of "privileges" for all.

That's what happens when you get caught on the CVR singing to music after landing on the tail, literally, and then admit that you were using your phone to listen.

It's not worth 1000, don't be dumb and spend that money when the closest competitor is 500 dollars less new.
But but but it's so shiny new and 5 year warranty. But honestly I've share my DNA with pretty much all the pilots here. So everyone here should buy something used.

Are the David Clark DC-Pros on the approved list? Heard nothing but great things about them, and about half the cost of Bose
