I am very familiar with how this industry works, but what we are upset about is how we have (or haven't been) compensated. How we were told we would be compensated and how we have been compensated are two separate things, that is MOU is supposed to address.

Do you understand? Or do I need to explain to you in even more elementary terms.
I swear some of you cqfo jump at the first thing moves.

In recent years pilots have caught on to that stuff though so it may be changing.

Hey congrats, TSA worked out for you, you think it's great post it. I'm going to post how my experience with them sucked. And I'll post it whenever I feel like.
Good thing you didn't go into the military...they'll promise you steak and eggs everyday and of course you'll be a fighter pilot, just sign up.
My guess is with your attitude you'd have been dishonorably discharged.

You're guess would be wrong, and I have the honorable discharge to prove it.

Never broke an SOP, nice try though.

Crediting less than 90 hours a month never happened unless you didn't volunteer to fly. I guess I should be upset and up in arms because I was told I would be on reserve for 1-2 months??? No! This is the industry i'm in and things like this would be expected. It could have gone either way. Now that movement with new A/C arriving people on property are going to see rapid movements. I know one person that went from most junior in base one month to holding a line the next (April-May). Im happy to be here at TSA. The people I work with everyday are a great group of people (pilots/FA).
No ones saying things don't happen in the industry that the company can't control that will change things. I understand that. It's when its a blatant mid representation, which has happened a lot in this industry. UNLESS something DRASTIC happens, if a company tells u you'll be on reserve for 2 months and it ends up being 12, they either can't plan, have made no effort to inform their recruiters, or they're lying. Nothing drastic happened during my time at TSA.

I never said you did. That's not how an analogy works. Did you graduate high school?

According to some ignorant pilot? You have no idea what happens behind the scenes and neither do i. I've seen major partners pull 3 airplanes worth of flying off a schedule last minute and the next month put it back. The recruiters aren't privy to back room negotiations and can only go on what it happening and has happened. There is no one that can tailor a projection just for you. Enough with your me me me attitude.
