Their WORD? Is this 1850? Someone's word hasn't been a legal contract since the turn of the last century. If you wanted something specific, you should have known to get it in writing. Even at places like google, people get things in writing if they are guaranteed by a future employer. My guess? They said upgrades were a year based on most junior captain date of hire and you were unintelligent enough to think it would be a year for you too.

The definition of "fired" is involuntary. That's not by choice.

My actions leading up to it were choices.

Dude seriously stop making excuses for them to not be forthright. That crap was going on all over the industry for years, as evident by the countless stories I've heard from Captains. I didn't say I was promised anything, but the picture they painted wasn't accurate, and then they acted like....I don't want to get banned. In recent years pilots have caught on to that stuff though so it may be changing.

Hey congrats, TSA worked out for you, you think it's great post it. I'm going to post how my experience with them sucked. And I'll post it whenever I feel like.

Then get ready to be lit up like the 4th of July. You did it to yourself. You come on here and say well they didn't do everything they said in the interview. Boo Hoo. Just because of that doesn't mean you have permission to do what you did. You didn't resign, you were fired. End of story. Had you resigned during training, then maybe you could come on here and spew what you are spewing, but you didn't. Instead you stuck it out till you got canned, and now you come on here (again) to push your agenda.

I haven't been pushing a go to TSA or else at all. People have asked, I have told what I believe to be true here. If they decide to come here great. If not, I'm not going to bat an eye lash at it. You can go back numerous pages and see where I said I thought both Compass and TSA would be good choices for a new hire. So before you call me Mr. Kool Aid, I have given my own opinion from both sides on numerous occasions.

All you've done is whine and moan about how you were shafted. I'd love to hear this strong arming by the company as far as PRIA is concerned, because you never mentioned that before. It sounds to me like you are straight up lying about certain things to make whatever "stand" you took justified, which ended up being your demise here.

Yes. Thanks for clarifying that you do indeed have free will. That's not an excuse to get fired.

I most certainly did mention it before, here and in another forum. I'm not whining, I'm just come in here and tell the world how my experience at TSA sucked, and you get all worked up, that's not my fault.
As for the stand, I'm fine with it. Granted if I had to do it over again I would ve resigned earlier but I don't have to justify anything to you. As for my demise at TSA, all I can tell you is life's great.

Ok I get your point. You've been in the regional airline industry for 5 minutes and think anyone that gets fired is incompetent. I'll disagree and leave you to your thoughts.

AND every time you do I'll be right here to let people know that your perspective is from someone who chose not to follow the rules and got fired. And then I'll weigh-in on how your "promises" and "gentleman's agreements" with the recruiter are an elaborate tale to discredit the company and make you look right...which you are not
