I saw a nice write up from a new hire fo the other week
...right aileron missing. That made me chuckle. As far as the rfp goes...I wouldn't hold.your breath...talked to someone in mgmt recently and they said this is classic united pulling our chain. Supposedly this goes on all the time with them. They tell us were a finalist and then it never materializes. Ususally no one outside of the schoolhouse finds out about this except for the great recall fakeout of 2010 and the atr rfp.
