In theory we are told prior to each month if we will be bidding Captain or FO for the following month. If we bid Capt. then we get Capt pay, if we bid FO, we get the blended rate.

I have an interview coming up at the LAX open house next week. Anyone knows if the interview will be the same format as the ones in STL (i.e. Sim eval, test, etc)?

The interview will be very low-key, but be prepared. Have several questions to ask. Know your Jepps. No sim, but there will be a 50 question ATP quiz.

Actually, a friend of mine just went to the interview and said that they had him look at LIDO charts. He had never seen one before and spent an awkward minute trying to find the information on there... still got the job.

Yep, looks like all 3 TSH airlines will be moving to that to save $.
Got the same experience as your friend with these lido charts, I had never seen one before that interview.

Has nothing to do with saving $. Holdings is moving to a complete takeover by Lufthansa systems in payroll, scheduling, and dispatch and the LIDOS are part of that package....TSA should be completely moved to everything by the fall. I think we will be the first of the 3 holdings airlines.

What? Uncle Hulio does nothing if it won't save a buck. Why on earth would a company that owns 3 airline change it's way of doing business across multiple department if it wasn't to save money???
