Denver isn't officially open yet, and nobody has been awarded that base yet however that will change soon. As a new hire you might not get what you want initially but with the upcoming movement you'll get where you want to go quickly, if not before the end of ioe.

Good info.. Thank you, ET. Hope things are going well for you. Probably the only other question I may have is if there is a projected date or timeframe when DEN would be official. But I know everything in this industry changes by the minute..

I was just at Differneces training, and they were saying April 1st. There is Denver overnights on March bids.

So far so good, it's a change from what I'm used to but the people here have been great. I was last hear DEN opened in May, but I guess Coneydog heard April now, which would be even better!

Why are these schedules so bad? This is unbelievable considering we are overstaffed and getting more flying. And lately they've been factoring days from the previous month as well 2 or 3 days from the next month into a bid period. Do we really even have min days off required in a month???

I was thinking the exact same thing. These bids are terrible. 12 days off for lines 1-3? And 11 days off for the rest of them?

What does health insurance cost and coverage look like at TSA? For an individual? Married couple? Family?

If you have a wife and/or kids, your wife better have insurance, or it will suck to be you!
