Hey Bros!! I just got hired by TSA over the phone into the left seat. My class date is in February or something and I had a quick question.
I'm gonna start studying for this stuff and was wondering what exactly a V1 speed is. I mean I kinda get it but I just was looking for a clear answer. Thanks guys!

I get the desire to troll. At least try to make it interesting. Sounding like a jealous neanderthal isn't helping your cause. If any of those words are too big for you, I can help you out when you're chucking my gear some day.

Why do you guys get so defensive when anyone brings up a legitimate question (future FO staffing, training problems)? How can there be any doubt that when the upgrade music stops there won't be enough FO's to keep planes flying? Emails to all AirlineApp applicants on a weekly basis isn't going to cut it. Then go talk to people currently in training and you'll the real story on the issues currently taking place.
Tell me. What have you supposedly been told from people in training?

The cqfo is the first officer. You will be flying right seat until they have enough FOs which will most likely be other CQFOs. Again, it doesn't look too pretty with future staffing and I'm sure they'd rather pay blended rates for a new hire FO rather than not having one at all.
...we were told to just know CA flows...and be aware of the FO flows. We start sim next week.
