As for the comment about not getting to 80, unless some catastrophe occurs that greatly impacts the whole industry happens in 2015, the planes are coming and will be on property by next spring. You can play the .001% odds of you'd like. Me? I'll take the 99%

Funny to see some of ya'll on the Mesa board pointing out flaws with them and their contract but can't take the heat on here when we do the same to you.

Flaps 18 is predicated on runway distance and single engine obstacle clearance. There are no worries with the 12,000' runways at DEN. even on hot humid days.

Flaps 18 will allow us to not leave anybody or their bags behind out of Gunnison or Montrose or Durango in July.

What contract? They are too busy getting shiny jets to worry about negotiating their contract. And there is a HUGE difference between comparing XJT/TSA and TSA/MESA. Mesa, Republic and GJ are some of the worst contracts out there. They have significant issues. AND TSA made huge gains on their last contract. They also are in position to make gains on their next contract.

The cqfo is the first officer. You will be flying right seat until they have enough FOs which will most likely be other CQFOs. Again, it doesn't look too pretty with future staffing and I'm sure they'd rather pay blended rates for a new hire FO rather than not having one at all.
