It isn't that bad, there are definitely growing pains but they're getting things figured out. The potential long term benefit outweighs a few annoyances during the first week or so of class.

keep it classy douche. Nothing of the sort. Take your hate somewhere else.

The reality is we have a 90% plus pass rate. Our first CQFOs haven't even taken checkrides yet so spreading baseless rumors because your bitter your airline didn't get flying or isn't upgrading or even getting shut down is PAINFULLY transparent.

Nope. Our training rate has a 90% plus pass rate. The only thing that could possibly be considered a hiccup is I think we delayed one class due to bad weather for a few days.

You mad bro? I can't help that your stuck at a place with no upgrade. I personally know and have friends in class and they say everyone is happy and excited about the growth.

So go be mad about your 8 year upgrade in your own forum. Why people hate other pilots just because their airline has growth is beyond me. Quit being so jelly.

I see from your posts you are a 9E pilot. I personally know a guy that came over before the CQFO program and he is about to upgrade and said it is the best thing he ever did.

Sorry to hear about your downgrades. Go back to your thread and good luck with that.

Desperation is cold calling and offering class dates. That's what Mesa is doing. There are major airlines that do interviews at job fairs. Is that desperate?

Desperation is hiring non current guys. Not saying it's good or bad, just stating the obvious, that they are desperate.

Again, maybe you didn't learn gud in skool but you could use to understand what words mean.

Desperate: feeling, showing, or involving a hopeless sense that a situation is so bad as to be impossible to deal with.

Hiring guys who aren't current isn't desperate. Is it a hiring tactic? Sure. But 117 doesn't allow you to count time before a certain date so it isn't like they are putting guys who haven't flown in 20 years in the left seat

Guy also needs to learn to read. It doesn't say we are hiring non current pilots. It says we are interviewing people who aren't current 121 pilots. This is just a new policy where we are not requiring SIM rides for current 135 and military guys.

Where does it say we are just blindly hiring guys who haven't flown in years? Reading. Its a useful tool.

With the "help" they were giving when I was there, anyone that's not passing is just not motivated.
