Lol you must be new. Memphis has horrible crime rates. It was so bad there in training with Pinnacle they moved us 30 min to Mississippi in olive branch. There is only one good thug in Memphis and that's Fedex.

That is some Batman level stuff that includes not properly locking your door.

Sounds more like someone called a prostitute and it didn't go as planned. So they needed to make up a story so their wife would not find out.

That hotel was terrible. I'm sorry you can't go get hammered on Beale anymore, but I was tired of that garbage hotel. I'm sad we are out of downtown but when is enough enough? Never being able to take a hot shower in the morning? People getting robbed? Rooms getting ransacked? Shuttle that leaves you at the airport for an hour? I'd much rather be at a nice hotel in a bad part of town than a litterbox in a marginally better but not really part of town.

I think there is a reasonable expectation that if you forget to lock the slam latch, there isn't someone roaming the halls looking for an unlatched door. This particular situation, the floor was undergoing renovation and the metal door jam wasn't installed allowing the person to rig it from the outside. I know this crew got in after midnight and on days like that, I am lucky to get my clothes hung up before falling asleep.

I have just be around long enough to see us lose hotels before because crew members act naively of their surroundings (FAs walking at night alone in PHL, not locking doors, ect...) then we lose decent hotels due to it. I honestly remember when hotels were MUCH worse so admittedly maybe my point of view is skewed.

Ya sucks about Memphis. Was a fun overnight. Question...when do we need our travel companions ito John T's? And health insurance? Do we get auto enrolled into it again or do we need to be pro active on that as well.

Open enrollment was back in November. I haven't checked my tablet in a couple days (thanks ioe guy's) but last I heard 2015 wasn't ready yet. And yes, you have to enroll again for United. They take it out of your paycheck.

How is the CQFO thing working out for guys? Is it a ploy to recruit FO's? Also heard about a possible flow agreement.

Two CQFO classes so far, both started in December so none of us have even hit sim yet. Two more classes in January, both are packed but I have no idea what the break down of CQFO vs FO will be. It doesn't sound like a ploy thus far as there will be a ton of growth coming up with not enough qualified FOs on property to fill the needed upgrade slots at the moment.
